eco-design

Ready-to-Wear

Bonpoint integrates eco-design into the heart of its ready-to-wear collections, favoring European
suppliers and highlighting the work of local artisans. The brand also promotes
the use of certified raw materials and environmentally-friendly processes.

Cotton

Cotton, mainly organic, is Bonpoint's flagship material, particularly for its Newborn and Baby
collections. Fine, soft, and ideal for sensitive skin, cotton is used for the
majority of clothing for toddlers. It can also be found in the Children's
collections, in particular in iconic Liberty fabric pieces.

For its denim and cotton jersey, Bonpoint sources from renowned partners in Mediterranean
countries such as Portugal and Tunisia.

Cashmere

Bonpoint selects certified cashmere from goats raised in Mongolia and China and prized for its
softness and finesse. This cashmere, which is used in our collections, provides
for outstanding quality while ensuring animal welfare.

Wool

Wool is a natural and sustainable fiber that plays a key role at Bonpoint. In partnership with The
Woolmark Company, we highlight the ecological, renewable, and biodegradable
properties of merino wool. This wool is soft, comfortable, durable, and perfect for sensitive skin.

Raffia

Raffia is a natural, biodegradable fiber from Madagascar, whose traditional know-how with the
material is used to infuse life into our collections of accessories.

Leather

Bonpoint uses certified leather crafted in Spanish ateliers that are renowned for their
tanning know-how. The certified leather used in our collections provides for
outstanding quality while ensuring animal welfare.

Recycled materials

Designed to withstand the elements, our technical garments incorporate recycled materials such as
polyester and polyamide (both as main materials and padding) to create
high-performance pieces. By using recycled materials, we help minimize our
environmental impact by reducing plastic waste and our consumption of natural
resources, all the while guaranteeing optimal protection.

partnerships

Bonpoint is committed to protecting the environment with other eco-responsible partners:

Veja

We team up with Veja to create sneakers with "ChromeFree" leather from Brazilian farms
that is tanned without chrome, heavy metals, or dangerous acids to optimize the
performance of recycled and bio-based materials. These tanneries have received
a "Gold" rating from the Leather Working Group™.

Maison Laulhère

Setting standards since 1840, Laulhère berets are made at the foot of the French Pyrenees with
high-quality materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and natural dyes obtained
from blends of plant pigments.

FRAGRANCES & SKINCARE

Bonpoint places eco-design at the heart of its fragrance & skincare lines.

The Maison has extended its commitment to eco-responsibility to its range of fragrance and
skincare products. Our products are made in France with mostly natural and
organic ingredients, in an environmentally responsible laboratory that shortens
the supply chain.

Our formulas are 100% vegan, free of raw materials of animal origin, and enriched with active organic
ingredients such as cotton, cherry, and orange blossom — all of which are made
in France. As per ISO 16128, 95% of the ingredients in our skincare range are
of natural origin.

In addition, all our skincare products and creams score 90 or higher on the Yuka platform, and are
constantly being developed to simplify and improve their formulas.

Packaging is also a major part of our sustainable approach. We use recycled or recyclable
materials, and have eliminated leaflets to reduce waste. We have also launched
refillable formats, an innovation honored with a "Victoires de la Beauté
Responsable" Award in 2024.

TRACEABILITY & TRANSPARENCY

As per Article 13 of the French anti-waste law for a circular economy (AGEC), we provide detailed
environmental data sheets for our products. Thanks to our traceability
platform, we can fully track all our products — from the sourcing of raw
materials to the final packaging.

Bonpoint vintage

In 2022, Bonpoint created "Bonpoint Vintage," a second-hand offer designed to reinforce
its commitment to quality and timeless fashion. Thanks to this initiative,
customers can buy and resell items from past collections both online and in
Bonpoint stores (only available in France and Japan).

"In line with our approach to circularity and
sustainability, Bonpoint Vintage makes it possible to extend the life of our
creations while strengthening the ties between generations
," declares
Pierre-André Cauche, President of Bonpoint

Bonpoint makes the most of its leftover fabrics — whether for capsule collections, customer events, or
donations — all the while maintaining high standards of quality and eco-friendliness.

Carbon Balance

In 2023, Bonpoint conducted its very first Scope 3 carbon assessment to take stock of its carbon emissions and figure out how to reduce them.

As part of our decarbonization plan, our goal is to reduce our CO2 emissions by 34% by 2030 and simultaneously achieve a growth rate of 5% per year.

This plan covers a number of areas: product transportation methods, energy efficiency in stores
and offices, and the eco-design of materials, clothing, and packaging, in
particular via reusable and refillable innovations in our fragrance &
skincare lines.
