Bonpoint and Vanessa Seward cosigned an original womenswear capsule collection. The collection includes women’s ready-to-wear and accessories with pairing girl outfits for Fall Winter 2024. The collection, inspired by Vanessa Seward’s iconic silhouettes, consists of 46 references.  

   “Collaborating with Bonpoint for this women's collection was a natural choice for me. I've admired Bonpoint since the 90s, when I would buy their 16yo clothes for myself, mixing them with couture pieces. Later, I bought Bonpoint for my daughter, drawn to its timeless, chic, and classic yet never boring style. When Bonpoint proposed a collaboration, it felt like a perfect fit.”

Vanessa and Bonpoint’s creative process for this capsule collection was deeply rooted in the identities of both brands. It was crucial to blend both DNAs. Inspired by Bonpoint's existing collection, Vanessa aimed to merge the children's collection with her interpretation, particularly for evening wear, where black and white ceremonial pieces she once bought for her daughter influenced her. Vanessa’s style manifested more in the cuts and shapes, while Bonpoint's essence came through the fabrics, details, and colors. Incorporating Liberty prints and silk added a feminine yet elegant touch, and using sequins for evening wear balanced freshness and sexiness.

Working with Bonpoint's atelier was essential: “the atelier's expertise in luxury finishes and the team's dedication made the experience so rewarding that I am already planning another collection with them”. Says Vanessa. 

The collection was designed for a full wardrobe from morning to evening. The aim was to create timeless pieces that women can incorporate into their wardrobes and keep for a long time. The collection includes iconic pieces like the Gentlewoman dress, emphasizing accessibility for women of all shapes, sizes, and ages.

Accessories play a crucial role in enhancing the overall look and feel of the collection. Shoes, in particular, are transformative. Vanessa designed three styles of shoes, including lightweight booties with a small heel for comfortable, all-day wear. 

The collection also features an evening leather handbag inspired by Bonpoint’s classic valisette that fits a phone, a must-have for modern women, and a scarf ring with a gaucho-inspired twist reflecting personal inspirations.
